AFGHANISTAN AND EGYPT

SETH BLOOM AND CHRISTINA GELSONE MET IN 2003 WHILE WORKING IN AFGHANISTAN. Their goals were to develop with Afghans - who have endured 25 years of war and resistance - circus, art, and theatre projects finding alternatives to bring people together culturally, rather than divide them politically. These projects inspire creativity, resourcefulness, and hope for a more peaceful and stable future.

*They worked off and on yearly in Afghanistan from 2003-2010.

Seth Bloom was a co-founder of Mobile Mini Circus for Children -- based in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Christina Gelsone worked for years in post-war countries with New York City's own Bond Street Theatre.
